New Paltz Play School is an independent children’s daycare, housed by, but unaffiliated with the New Paltz Methodist Church (1 Grove Street, New Paltz, NY 845-255-2203.)
After 40 years of experimenting with different playground surfaces that never quite seemed to be satisfactory, New Paltz Play School has decided to invest in a new, safer playground surface, made from recycled tire mulch.
This safe new product from Porous Pave, uses metal-free shredded tire chips, which are then bound and fully encased in a urethane binder. The end result is a resilient, permeable playground surface that offers greater safety and superior drainage.
What The Client Says
“I’ve been a teacher here for 27 years, and over that time the playground surface has had grass, playground mulch and pea stone. None have lasted very long or worked effectively. We’re excited about Porous Pave.”
Suzanne Welch, Treasurer & Teacher
New Paltz Play School
“We wanted something that would look nice, require less maintenance and be really safe for the children. We’re pleased with the results.”
Nancy Vance, Director
New Paltz Play School
