One of the many reasons we love using Porous Pave rubber mulch is because it’s made from recycled material.. yes, car tires of all things.
The tires are shredded and the metal is removed. The rubber chips are then bound and encased by glue. The end product is soft, flexible and contained.
We’re preventing about 300 used tires from being buried in a landfill for every 1,000 square foot installation. It’s a fantastic way of re-purposing a potentially wasteful byproduct for an environmentally positive purpose.
