Kodah Wall Stone: Product Spotlight

One of the newest additions to our hardscape toolbox is Kodah wall stone, by Rosetta Hardscapes. Like it’s big cousin Outcropping, it’s a pre-cast concrete wall stone. If you have a project where Outcropping is too large and Belvedere is too small, Kodah is a perfect fit.

Natural cut stone can be costly and a pain to build with. That’s where Kodah comes in. This wall stone is super versatile and good looking to boot. But don’t take our word for it. Check out some of our favorite projects below.

Project: Bed Space Curbing in Modena, NY, June 2017Natural stone textured curbing in a bed space, by Masseo Landscape, New Paltz Landscaping

A little goes a long way. Kodah creates a small curb and defines the bed space. They get just a little height above the patio, and the blue stone color really compliments those brick red pavers.

Project: Curved Retaining Wall in New Paltz, NY, May 2017Curving retaining wall featuring Rosetta Kodah stone, by Masseo Landscape, New Paltz Landscaping

Did we mention Kodah is super versatile? Kodah was ideal for the curved shape we needed and strong enough to support that slope.

Project: Short Retaining Wall and Steps in New Paltz, NY, September 2016Pre-cast concrete retaining wall and steps to a patio, by Masseo Landscape, New Paltz Landscaping

One of our first Kodah projects! As you can see, Kodah and the Rosetta Dimensional Steps pair perfectly. Add some native perennials and you’ve got a rustic landscape without the cost of natural stone.

Project: Patio and Pavillion in Tillson, NY, Summer 2016A patio and pavilion in Tillson, NY by Masseo Landscape, Ulster County Landscaper

Look familiar? If you’ve been by Kalleco Nursery, you’ve spotted Kodah in our pavilion. Wrapping the posts of the pavilion in Kodah really tied it together with the patio below. Plus, check out our outdoor kitchen!
